Last night ended well. I got to get my tickets to hear Lou Diamond Phillips and Marcus Red Thunder talk about the Longmire character, Henry, (got the tickets here. they're cheap and go to charity) The one small silver lining to this forced stay at home is these virtual conferences are bringing things to people who normally couldn't get a chance to do this (like I ever would have sat on a zoom chat with LDP otherwise!)

I literally blew the dust off a book that fit my Popsugar challenge and read a chapter and went to bed at the normal time and...I think that dust was meth. I was WIRED. I didn't get to sleep until sometime between 430-5:00 am and only got 2 hours sleep.

I have dragged through this day but I got my insulin. I got my geeky masks (fun!) and I got my Blackboard more or less done and somehow got more online homeworks set up and...I'm pretty much done except for one thing for the semester. I'm not sure how I got anything done but I am exhausted now so have some fan fic recs and I'm going to try to go write.

Awww that's too bad. love your LDP icon. I've seen the pic around but I'm not sure what show/movie it's from. Do you know? I was thinking maybe Numb3rs but I wasn't sure (then again I didn't even remember him being on there so there's that)

OMG, he was the best in Numb3rs!! He played FBI sniper Ian Edgerton and that is what totally got me mega fannish about him. He was sonly in 6-7 episodes, but he had a brilliant episode built around his character towards the end of his arc.

The other icon was made for me, so I'm not positive where it comes from, but I think it is from that Wolf House or whatever show he did?

I know. It was like until I was looking at his IMBD I had forgotten Ian! I'm like OMG how did I forget that? I loved him on that but then my brain is a sieve. Frankly I'd forgotten just how much I had loved Numb3rs in general (also nice icon from that show!)

I've been fannish for him since the 80s. That might be Wolf Lake. I enjoyed that too but I was obviously a minority as it was yanked quickly

Numb3rs was a good show. I watched a fair bit of it after it aired and got sucked into Ian's character and Colby.


You know, I always liked LDP, but wasn't overtly fannish about him. It took a while to take hold.

Oh, that is right. Yeah, I never got a chance to see Wolf Lake.

It was a good show. I watched it when it aired but that's been a while.

I will say I'm even more fannish over LDP now getting to see how he is with fans on twitter and all his various charitable works. He just seems like a decent guy.

I want to say Wolf Lake lasted about a month on the original station and was aired in its entirety on another that same year
