Are other colleges watching Chapel HIll in NC? I'm waiting on the lawsuits, not just against the school but the administration as well. My school was face to face for second summer and no one social distanced. No one wore masks in spite of the mandates.

Mine is the only school around going back face to face. I really don't know how to feel about it. At first I wanted to but more and more I'm sure this is huge mistake especially when I hear about the cardiomyopathies that are happening. It's even happening in the young and asymptomatic carriers and that's terrifying.

I feel dumb complaining because a) I still have a job b) I'm not retail facing endless assholes with no masks but I think it's because it could be something other than we're making it...

I am on the last chapter on the Buffy Big Bang. I wanted to finish it tonight but I doubt that'll happen but that's okay. I'm within an hour or so of finishing the draft.

Buffyverse - That if Angel had only realized you don't forget prejudices overnight and quit trying to shove his son into the mold he had in mind things would have been different. So even before reading the Angel comics which took some of my head canon they played with that and Connor became the character he should have been.

Fullmetal Alchemist - Most of my head canon is actually backstory with how Roy and Riza were raised and that they are secretly a romantic couple and do love each other.

Lucifer - I don't think I have any.


Prodigal SOn - Well some of my head canon has already been jossed and I've had to let it go: that Jackie and Gil met in college and were sweethearts there. Ah well. I really loved that and have yet to truly explore the canon where Gil comes as a package deal with Malcolm.

Other head canon, that Jess's family refused to let her reclaim the Milton name (and that's why she uses Whitly not the stupid reason they gave on the show), that she does have some very classist (probably racist) family members. I believe Jackie died of cancer. I believe that someone in Dani's family had mental health issues explaining why she's so knowledgeable about Malcolm and how to handle him. I believe Martin's parents abused him and that he's definitely killed more than 23 people.

Hmmm it's easier to have headcanon with a new show.

Between internet outages and stress I haven't been following medical updates on the virus itself, but now you're mentioning cardiomyopathies and I'm wondering if there have been more articles on what it does or if it's still leaning toward this affecting the lining of blood vessels?

The article I read isn't an open one, it's part of JAMA but it has been been summarized in other places. It is affecting more than one tissue. The inside of the blood vessels is a tissue called simple squamous (endothelium) and it makes up the inside of the lungs too. The cardiomyopathy is muscle tissue being affected so this is all very scary shit.
