It's Monday even though it's Tuesday

I'm still doing the very weird sleep thing, like 2-3 hour nap every night and then in and out until the alarm.

Then I found out Jackson has gone into the red with Covid and might be facing another full shut down. That's because everyone up there refuses to wear their fucking masks.


Then they asked for people to be on a committee to help allocate all the money we have for the covid prep we did I decided for once let someone else do it.


Washing dishes I dropped a knife on my foot and then stabbed my arm with a knife in the dry rack. I'm afraid to go back in the kitchen.

In the good news, Prodigal Son will be back in January but there is likely only going to be eight episodes.

They've shut down a lot in my city in the last few weeks and I won't be surprised if they do more. The only thing that I both understand/think is stupid is they are restricting out of state travel except for the tristates, which all of them are Red Zones and bigger risks than other states that are restricted. So many people commute and travel between the three than I get how restricting them would be a huge task (and with all the police protests tons of cops aren't actually performing typical duties here ... it's a strange time).

the out of state restrictions is sort of insane to try and enforce (and technically I've broken that one) I can see it between countries but states? Maybe if we all worked together it wouldn't b e necessary but...

I mean they can't really enforce any of them really, since people can just lie on the forms they sign. Literally a friend's sister flew in from CA and signed the form at the airport saying she came from a different state that wasn't on the restricted list (her ticket was a direct flight from LA to NYC ... it didn't take much to deduce she had recently been in CA).

I've also been sleeping in a similar pattern the last several months. I seem to knock out from 1-5 and then drift from there until 7. Sometimes it's closer to 2-2:30 wen I fall asleep, which is def more painful the next day.

yep that's it exactly. I drop off around 2 ish and wake up between 4-5 and just drift til 8
