Snowflake Challenge day 9

In your own space, rec at least 3 fanworks you thought you wouldn't like (because they weren't your fandom or they pushed against your boundaries or you thought you just wouldn't be interested) but you ended up loving. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.



This was easier than the others for some reason, probably because it DID make me go outside my comfort zone and I remembered them.

First off have Rahirah’s Spuffy. I've known rahirah for many years first through Elfquest and then Buffy the Vampire Slayer but we're polar opposites when it comes to pairings. Spuffy is my least favorite pairing for Buffy and Spike. That said, Her writing is top notch and worth the read. This isn't just one story but rather her Spuffy archive.


Second - Sonjajade’s Braeda/Chris I love Chris Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist though sonjajade has a completely different take on the Madame than I do. She has several stories with this pairing and this is a fun one.


Thirdly - Bob_fish’s Roy/Ed bob_fish doesn't just write but illustrates her own stories and it's just a good story. What made it a stretch for me was that I do not like this pairing in Fullmetal Alchemist. Funny, I can put Roy with almost anyone but Edward. But that is easily put aside with a story this well plotted.
