Failing but tried. I do wish that prejudice girl and her ultra right wing husband would just go away forever. They were fine over Christmas but he calls today and moves Dad from being furious at what those trumpers did to mulling over what hateful husband said that they must have been actually anti-fa/BML plants trying to destroy everything. I'm like wtf did this guy say in that hour to turn you 180? And to believe that all of them weren't actually Trump supporters? Sigh. My parents were reasonable people until these two came into their lives


So I'm here trying to be happy. I do have some happy. Everyone was very nice about what I wrote them for fandomtrees which made me smile. So far I haven't heard from who I wrote for in the Pson holiday exchange but at least others like it.

I have too many meetings coming up, one tomorrow, one on monday but that one is for that class I signed up for. I'm not ready for classes to start. that is not me whining. that is cold hard fact. I've been spending this week working on my Welsh paper finally. It's too big, too disjointed too much a mess but I'm 80% 'done' with the original draft so I can futz later in the semester. I'm about ready to take on the bonesetters of Angelesy.


And Christmas is now 100% put away. Here, let me share it with you what it looked like because I forgot to.

I got my first negative AO3 review today. This person decided to click on my trex fanart and leave a comment about people posting fanart to AO3. Let's not forget that I have [Fanart] at the start of the title and "fanart" as one of the tags? Also, people post all sorts of fanworks to AO3? I just deleted it, but it was so unneeded and soured my mood.

I wish you luck on the research paper. I know it's been a long process.

Oh FFS, really? I would like to point out that AO3 is Archive of Our Own NOT fanfiction.net. It's for all kinds of transformative works. I hate to say it but if I have anything I think remotely 'controversial' (I would not think art in and of itself as that) locked to registered users because usually they do this shit anonymous.

this reminds me of one of my early Christmas stories which was well marked as a werewolf story and the Amazon/goodreads comment was EWWW werewolves. I'm like really?!?

It is unnecessary and it pisses you off, and it stops creativity.

Seriously! People post podfic and meta and all sorts of fanworks to AO3. If you hate seeing them so much then filter them from your searches. Also, that particular art was for an AO3 exchange that very clearly was for art and fic (and mine was one of many in the collection). Just so unnecessary and rude. I would have blocked them if the option existed.

oh so they signed their name to their bitch? brave of them (had someone do that to a pson fic recently, not mine but it was nasty enough I'd have reported it...if we could)

And exactly, AO3 is for everything. Some people live to troll
