Nothing went as expected

I was unceremoniously dumped into my parents' car. They weren't even allowed up as promised. The nurse didn't really check me out. I have NO pain pills and no orders for home PT. Come monday someone is getting their head removed. Even before that the aid put the potty chair over the toilet in a way you couldn't hit the toilet...

The ride back was fine. Honestly very little pain. Being home on the other hand is bad. The bed was too high to pull my leg off and on. They removed the foam topper so now I can barely do it.

Sitting on the couch was comfortable but then I couldn't get off of it at all. I finally had to pull myself onto the arm (which is stiffer) and all but throw myself off of it.

Sitting a the table is worse. Both legs went numb. I couldn't stand. I panicked. Finally got up. My leg is killing me though from all the flailing around. I hope my brother has ideas tomorrow. I guess I'll spend the night here in bed but I'm worrying about that and have done for a while. Some of the butt skin is getting dicey.


This is going to be a challenge so guess I left the home too soon. Sigh.

And I'm still doing better than Mattress Mike who plopped down 2.4 million on Essential Quality today. My long shot pick was Midnight Bourbon but if I had been putting real money down it would have been Medina Spirit just because of the owner/trainer

Ugh, that really is so disorganised and not good. I hope some things can be sorted to make it easier for you to get on and off seats and stuff. The last thing you need is to aggravate your knee while it's still healing.

I figured it out. Lawn furniture has arms so I'm using that. not comfortable for more than a n hour but it's something

I got the bright idea of pulling in the lawn furniture as it has arms. It worked
