I hate buying clothes online

You get bad fits, weird fabrics, colors that don't look like the picture, clothes that don't look like the picture and that's with the few online places I might trust. Mom and I got an order for Woman Within today. Usually a 2x is either an 18/20 or 22/24. These were MUCH bigger (and don't get me started on the fact there is no regulation in sizes for women's clothes) so they don't fit her. Meanwhile my shorts a 3X which should be about a 24 or 26 barely fit. This is my usual size but I've LOST nearly 30 pounds. Had I not these wouldn't have begun to fit.

So now we've wasted about 14$ in shipping to and from for nothing. Blech. Sorry I prefer brick and mortar for clothing (and produce). Undeterred because I can't go shopping anyhow, I want to use my Roaman's birthday coupons. Nothing from the catalog can be found or isn't the right price. I call them and they're of no help because they can't even see the items on their end. Bangs head. Don't order. Get what I can and try to use the coupon (good til the end of the month) Nope. Okay the bra and the clearance aren't available for couponing. I remove them to order separate still no. I give up and order nothing. Will call about the coupon tomorrow.


I DO have good news, the idiot staff sent my PT orders to the new clinic. Now to get home health to discontinue me.

Six pairs of shoes bought online so far. Six pairs of shoes that didn't fit. By this point, my old shoes are duct-taped to keep them from falling apart.

I have to buy clothes online because there's nothing near me (now that Fashion Bug went out; I actually got some good stuff from them, things I've only recently had to toss and they've been out of business for ~years), and it's such a crapshoot wrt fit. And it doesn't help that they all shrink. I buy tall pants and they shrink to being too short. I bought a sweatshirt and the hem length AND arm length AND width around the middle all shrunk. And I wash in cold water. (This is all Woman Within.) They just make crap for fat people. Which is why I'm still wearing shorts that are way to large on me now; they sag so that the crotch is between my thighs and it feels so weird to walk that way. I have to roll the waistband twice now. But buying clothes is such a sucky experience. Also, I remember the first time I bought from WW; their sizing was so off from what I had been buying.

Same here. I prefer Roaman's to WW just because the clothes are slightly better and more professional looking but they ain't great. I am willing to drive my hour to get to Macy's and get their clothes onsale
