My last day

The anxiety of going back home, going back face to face is getting high. I haven't been home alone in 6 months. I have to make that drive tomorrow. I have to unpack a very loaded car (in stages because I can't do it all at once, it's too much).

Mom mended the pajamas they cut off me and gave back. I'm not sure I can wear them. They will probably need donated.


It was depressing being here, thinking as much as I want on my own, then it's frightening. Also I like this home that I grew up in. I would like it some day but it is not an easy home to upkeep either.

I watch the pilot of Fantasy Island in spite of it being on Fox mostly because Rosalyn Sanchez was the star (had a crush on her since Without a Trace) and Bellamy Young was on it. It was a mix of sad, weird and boring. I'm over reboots.

Tonight the rain has stopped. I SHOULD be able to see the Perseids. I want to see them.

It sounds like a tough job to accomplish on your own. I hope the drive goes smoothly and you find some nice places to stop for a rest, and the unpacking goes without a hitch (or buckle, as it were).

I've been on the fence about watching the new Fantasy Island. Largely because it's a reboot and I've been so tired of those.

I watched the first episode last night. And boy was it problematic in some ways. I think that the writers were trying to be progressive while playing it safe. It may have worked in the late 70s/early 80s, but not 2021.

I will probably watch it again because my Mum seemed to like it.

Yeah I agree. I didn't like how she got the new tattoo (really, he's going to go home and say sorry Mom died on vacation and I just LEFT her there?!?)

And Bellamy eating the evil step dad was weird
