How's it going? Another drive by posting. I'm back from the eye doctor and on my way to work and since my eyes are dilated and I have no idea what I'm doing and can't see it the tally is going to wait until tonight so it's sensible.


I got 1130 words on an original story that is due way too soon. And 240 words on Bound by Fear

As I suspected, no actual fic words last evening.

Day 7: No fic words this morning, either, but I did this thing that helps my brain loosen up and come up with ideas: I wrote out all the prompts for the ROK fall bingo in alphabetical order (so I'm not thinking bingo) on one side of the sheet of paper, and list the fandoms/characters/pairings I most generally write on the other side, then let my mind free to do a kind of match up between the two columns. And it worked! I have ideas for several of the prompts now! I'm super excited to start writing them, so maybe that ~will happen tonight. *squees* I'd love to get a start on them.

I spent most of the evening in a most interesting discussion about fandom creators and writing what they might or might not approve and the like, and am going to count that for my writing tonight, as it's so basically about writing. Wrote nearly 1,3k for this so far! There might be a sentence or two on the Drawer WIP following later, or maybe not.

First full day of teaching for me here and MAN am I exhausted. But I eked out another 254 words on the short story and cut out some of what I'd already written. I'm trying to make it tight, you know? But I caught myself rambling, so I called it a night.

Day the 7th: Moar notes, since timeline isn't working I went back to motivations and who needs to do what. This led to the beginning of a scene, so on top of the notes I got another page-and-a-bit written longhand.
