Yesterday's attempt to write turned into a much needed nap (didn't sleep well the night before).

Day 20: Nada. Not gonna complain about it because I had a lot going on today. I have high hopes for tomorrow, though. *crosses fingers*

Clearing out the final shed, almost got mown down by a speeding rat. Could have done without that adventure.

not being able to sit up long enough to do much of anything on a full-sized keyboard is suuuuck

today I have gotten a couple hundred words so far on my mlbigbang. also check me in for the 19th and 18th, please, as I know I worked on my canon timeline möbius nonsense on two days this month; I don't remember which those were and apparently didn't check in for them already, but this'll keep my count accurate.

20 Sept -- 120 words - a drabble that goes in a previous piece expanding the whole thing to 300 words and suitable to post for the new fan flashworks prompt.

Also got 20ish words in edits on TRSB1 as I was coding in the art. Got the promo post for that piece finished and posted.

Today was horrible on many axes, though it ended up much better than it started, and I got some stuff done, but I very much sympathize, especially with the heat. I hope they fix the A/C promptly!

yesterday was just not good for a lot of us. I swear I will take the students outside in the grass if it's that hot tomorrow. They can take their test with the bugs.

And darn, missed a day again. Put me in for 1,2k for the 19th and 2k for the 20th - still "just" Drawer WIPs but it's really going well currently. I also took out the Fannish WIP on Sunday but was just re-reading my various draft fragments to see which one to keep, and spent a lot of time in more fic reorganising - this time all the pre-internet drafts, ideas, snippets, drawer thingies I wrote snice I was a teen first in longhand in a stack of notebooks, and later on my first computer, also typing most the longhand ones out with time. I've always felt weird keeping that teenageish stuff, but I find that there are some fic ideas in there I might turn into a novel at some time. It was also fun to revisit my early writing and see that I made all the beginner's mistakes, but also to see a lot of this improving and evolving over time, particularly with the few stories I kept working on.

I hear you. I have teenageish stuff saved in literal file boxes (cuz I'm old) that you can barely read the pencil any more. It's crap but I can't seem to part with it. But it is interesting to see your progress.
