Date: 2021-10-01 11:09 pm (UTC)I was beginning to think I'd never get underway, and my picture prompts weren't immediately inspiring, but the FAKE on is starting to come together, I think I know where I'm going with it. Still not clear on the Torchwood one, and that might not get written, depends how long the FAKE one take to finish.

The year before I did a Boogeyman for FAKE, Dee telling of his weirdest, creepiest case. This time I'm doing a skeleton one. Might not be as creepy as the last two, but...
Maybe look at the other prompts and see if something grabs you?

Creepy is kind of out of my comfort zone, so I wasn't sure I could do it the first time I tried, but I quite enjoy the challenge of scaring myself, and in most cases I've succeeded. One of these days I'll probably end up writing silly Halloween fluff though.

I've been easily distracted trying NOT to think about T's surgery tomorrow, so I'm not much good for more than that tonight. Still, it's progress. (The surgery is minimally invasive robotic surgery for three hernias--two in the groin and a larger umbilical hernia. They're doing all three at one go, and it's supposed to be routine. I'm sure it is, but I'm still nervous about it, never mind my usual aversion to hospitals and doctors--present company excluded, naturally. :-)
