You Sound Disgusted

cornerofmadnessMom is quick to pick up on things and yes I was. I did a foolish thing I did drag out in this weather to go 45 miles north to my hand surgeon appointment and actually the drive wasn't too bad except for the morons whipping around going over 70 miles an hour. That's not what disgusted me. The scales showed what I feared I gained back all the weight. And not slowly. To the point I AM bringing this up next week at the endocrinology appointment 10 pounds in one week and a full 20 in 3 weeks. I mean yeah there were Christmas cookies but it wasn't like I was shoveling shit in my face 24/7. I'm so disappointed in myself. I can't believe that just eliminating the bike riding for 3 weeks could make this much of a difference.
The other reason to be disgusted I didn't tell mom because I'd never hear the end of it. I probably don't deserve to. I left here without my purse. So I drove 90 miles round trip with no purse, no money, no id, no phone. Thank god I didn't end up in a ditch like the other fools.
On the good side, he agrees it's probably a ganglion cyst. I'm slated for surgery to cut it out of my middle finger on the 4th. It's a very minor procedure.
I did sign up for moonjoggers Betty White charity run and donated money in her name to an animal shelter.
For Martin Luther King Jr day instead of me using yet another quote how about something actionable, NAACP to protect voting rights
BTW we did get about 8 inches of snow but the power stayed on.
