How can a short week

Be so damn long. I'm SO tired. Rocket didn't help matters. He never came back last night but was in his box this morning. I made him a thermal box, filled with shredded paper in his travel crate then the crate is surrounded by a blanket and then garbage bags to keep it dry. He is long furred so it all stuck to him and he trashed my place. He's only used the litter box once so I had to put him out because he's not really trustworthy. Today he wasn't there when I came back. I was a little worried. It's like 1 degree out there (and god the pin holes in my bones are aching) Finally at 1030 he returned. His ass ain't going back out no matter how much he fusses.


I was so very sad to see Meatloaf pass today (and Louie Anderson too!)

I watch a lot of true crime. I have for decades. I was watching one from Oxygen Twisted Killers and I have NEVER seen this before. Usually they blur out the victim. This one did not. Face yes and breast/genitals but nothing else, including her forensically bagged hands or the giant hole knifed into her. ANd it kept going back. And back. AND BACK. (But did not do that with the second victim's picture making me wonder about whoever produced this).

I do this a lot. I am thrilled to talk to people. So if you've ever wanted to talk to me and have been shy, please feel free. Tonight's a good time. I over bourboned my hot toddy so who knows what I'll say.

That last observation made me chuckle. Obviously, we interact plenty, but I don't know if I mentioned that we're watching Prodigal Son over here. Next up is S2ep6, I think? I am LOVING it, and naturally, I've supplemented watching with fanfic reading. I'm a Broyo fan, which I believe is not your flavor, but I like it. As a fangirl from early SPN fandom and a hardcore Wincest shipper in my day, I have to laugh at how squicky I find all the Malcolm/Martin fic, though--do not want, will not read. Still, I am chill about other people's kinks--just not my thing.

Yay, I'm glad you're enjoying Prodigal Son. Here's the thing, I can handle Broyo if it's AU and there was never a father/son relationship. I do prefer the father/son relationship to a sexual one. I never like incest regardless of fandom. That said I don't care if people write it. Go nuts.

I DO have Broyo recs (probably in my fandom rec tag sometimes the fanfic rec tag because I'm an idiot about tagging or I can just go find it for you quick) A lot of my friends write it. I've read some of it. There was one I really liked that never got finished (naturally) and the author seems to only be writing Star Wars now. Sigh
