It was needed. I'm going to lose all the skin on the proximal edge of the incision. I put antibiotic ointment on it, less red but the skin has gone white. In spite of all my efforts it healed like it hadn't been stitched at all.

I will drop Rocket at the vet tomorrow but I'm thinking something worse is going on. He's very hot. We'll see. I have considered surrendering him as well if it gets him to care he needs. I hope the vet will listen to me when I say CALL ME before you do any damn thing. That might sound cold but again not really my cat, won't stay inside. He tried to get in the litter. Couldn't/wouldn't. I helped. He was having none of it. He really needs to be somewhere he can go in and out if he recovers and that's just not here.

I'm hoping my flash drive is in my office because it is not in my purse. I'm going to have to get another one and put notes on it for tomorrow. I swore i put it in my wallet but I can't find it.

Went to the winery. Need more wine

All the sympathies about the healing, or rathrer lack thereof. ***hugs*** And Rocket on top... I just hope there's a doable long-term solution for him; it sounds all so very difficult.

thanks. Luckily it wasn't as bad as feared with him but long term is still going to be bad I think
