and then woke up to 5 inches of snow and it's like 20 out there. Yikes. I stayed in but I accomplished very little. I did learn the one short story I had managed to complete isn't due at the end of March but rather July. Way to screw that up.

Rocket is walking much better today so that's good.

Can anyone explain HBO Cinemax Starz etc to me? 30-40 years ago they had relevance. Outside of a few shows all they are are ancient movies. I think this every time Direct (and Dish before them) would give me free weekends. Ihave one now. I've recorded like two things. I could have done Euphoria but in spite of it's popularity it's NOT a me thing. I watched about 30 minutes of Max Payne but that was awful. Watching The Watcher with Spader/Reeves. Pretty sure I've seen it but I like them both so...



I moved my book review site here bookheaven. I might import the stuff over from LJ, might not. It's technically open (with moderation) to anyone who might want a place to hang their book reviews. Mostly I did it because Netgalley looks to see if you have a review site to prioritize who gets an ARC.

Buffy is 25!? oml. I can remember my friends in school being so into Buffy/Angel when it started (then Spike showed up in S2 and I latched onto him so hard... thank god that was before I had internet LMAO). I agree, Buffy is very much like HP in terms of the creator. I think I'd rather consider it Gellar's show.

I liked Spike until they put him with Buffy and then I was meh about him but I did really like the first four seasons of it (and Angel)

Buffy was my show when it was on television and I loved Angel as well. Although both shows had their ups and downs plot wise.

It took me two tries to get into Buffy (oddly enough same with Fullmetal) and I agree it had a lot of ups and downs but I admit it the last two seasons were nearly unwatchable to me (I never did fully see S7)
