I had a diabetic attack yesterday which tired me out so the upside of that was I was tired so the dumb time change didn't keep me awake.

I hate that I feel so rushed. I need another day here before going home for the rest of break but since I'm leaving from the clinic in Columbus I don't have that but today made up for it a little. Okay I won't get the house cleaned at all but was I really ever going to?

I did get to the gym and to the coffee house and that's where things got good. I knocked out my sapphic horror FINALLY and finished it. I might not finish every story I want to this month but I got about half of them. If I'm going to find so many anthologies, I'm going to have to start spread sheeting them. I'm still shocked I wrote 2K in under an hour. Anyone want to read about 4300 words of Sapphic sort of horror...

I also got the fan project done. I'm so glad that got that off my plate. Jesus.

So I tried to get my steampunk symposium tickets. I called the hotel again which told me they were 100% sold out two weeks ago and wanted to find me a different Holiday Inn. Why did I do it? Gut Instinct. The hotel I was thinking of staying at shares a parking lot and turned out 15$ more. No big but with my leg I thought it would be so much nicer to just be in the hotel with the convention without having to cross that lot.

This time the guy's like yeah we have room including in the con block. I told him someone told me there was no room at the inn. This isn't just a case of someone canceling. He had PLENTY of rooms including handicapped ones. Either someone didn't know how to use the computer, didn't want to do their job or a shit ton of people canceled. I'm doubting that later.

So I have a room but no con tickets. Head desk. I forgot my password from 2019 so I asked for a password reset. It said if you don't get it in 10 minutes ask again. I did. twice. over an hour later all three come over so I reset the password and get told when I go back to get the ticket I hit the site too many times and I'll be temporarily locked out. Seven hours later I still am. Do you see the smoke coming out my ears?

And I better go dig out my asthma inhaler and start using it. My chest is tight again but I won't take it this late in the day because of what it does to my heart rate.
