Had a wicked witchy good time

My thoughts about getting to Salem even before things opened and just hang in a coffee place was spot on because I still barely found a place to park.

I picked up two things I missed the last time in Salem (I could have redone a few things but it was still impossibly hot). I hit the witch house and the Peabody Essex museum. I can recommend both.

Honestly I'd have paid any entrance fee to go into the museum and get into the air conditioning. I did some shopping for the holidays. I also bought myself two very overpriced fancy chocolates a lavender caramel and a rose one. I have a weakness for floral sweets (even if they can get perfumey) Even hit up the comic book store.

Passed on the pizza joint I wanted to try because it was a few blocks down in the opposite direction of where I wanted to be.

And yes I stopped in a book store. I should have gotten a different book than I did. I was torn between two. I think I made the wrong choice. ah well. It was a newer one on the trials including modern psychology so we'll see

I'm glad this was a good day! I'd have enjoyed spending time in the coffee shop even aside from the parking issue, so I think that's always a good idea. *g*
