And Love & THunder. Finally saw Thor Love & Thunder. It was a lot of fun. Taika Waititi did something very hard, balancing a very dark plot with enough humor to make it not feel like a dirge. Mom and I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for everyone who chimed in on my question. It's much appreciated. I did forget to mention a few things that you hit on, like Covid putting a time stamp on it which was one of my thoughts. Aaronlisa's storm suggestion reminded me my dumb ass fell in Winter so ice/snow could definitely lend to isolation. I think I'll leave Covid out. At some point I'll have to reread my own journal to outline a little. I'm not an outliner and but I will need some help here as I have oxycontin holes in my memory.

Oh, man. The 'oxycontin holes' reminds me that it wasn't until I went in for hip replacement surgery that I learned I was allergic. Not anaphylactic-allergic (thank goodness), but itchy-hives-all-over-my-body-allergic. And while I was in the hospital for 3 days, no one really noticed the hives breaking out (they were all over my legs) and it wasn't until I was home (and stopping the oxy anyway) that the itching got dramatic.

And how many more parenthetical statements can I add to a paragraph? LOL

hahaha lots of parentheticals there. I'm not allergic but narcotics make me vomit so they had to give me meds for that too. And then they cold turkeyed me after months of being o n it. thanks dudes.

It was rather silly but the underlying plot was deadly serious. I thought it was fun plus Hemsworth's ass so there's that

I haven't seen it yet, but I read the comics that the movie was based on (which I really enjoyed), so I am looking forward to it.

Ah I didn't know it was direct from the comics. I never collected on Thor (I'm more of a group hero reader) It was fun
