The good and the bad

The good: made it back to Ohio with no drama
The bad: still worried about Mom. I told her (and Dad) if the intense sleepiness persists tomorrow, she needs to call her doc and/or go in on Monday

The good: Rocket is still here and in fine shape
The Bad: Rocket is still here and now I have to figure out what to do with him

The good: no one stole the dress nor the tea pot off my porch (the dress seems to fit, a bit big but it IS an over dress and I forgot that until I had it on)
The Bad: they were on the porch for weeks


The good: they cut down the dead tree menacing the parking lot
The bad: there are SO MANY FRAKKING trees growing in my garden to cut down

The good: the internet/phone/tv are all working which they often aren't when I'm gone long
The bad: SO MANY SPIDERS in here

The good: I had a full punch card and got a free three topping pizza from my favorite pizza place (mmm roasted whole garlic, pepperoni, green olives)
The Bad: I'm suddenly exhausted and very very nauseated.

The Good: I've emptied the car
The bad: There are SO MANY bags I need to empty and put away tomorrow.


ETA: I was thinking about my wipbigbang story that I'm running out of time on. I was trying to think of where I could take Angel and Connor on a learning to be family vacation besides Vegas (and eventually on to Ireland. I need a couple bridge chapters) thoughts?

Yay for making it home safe and having good pizza! I wondered how Rocket was doing, the little scamp.

I hate unpacking after time away. Good luck with that.

Does it have to be one spot? How about a roadtrip along Route 66? I can see Angel being corny like that. (I myself want to do Route 20 from east coast to west.)

I do and the irony of it is it begins (or ends depending on pov) in Chicago which is where I was going to set the chapter before I asked and ends in L.A. so it's perfect. I might start the chapter in AZ or NM and end it in Chicago
