my contact is lost around the back of my eye and the temporary handicapped handle came off when I was getting out of the tub and jarred my knee and somehow my living room looks worse now than when I started cleaning. Sigh. Not how I expected to spend my last day before all the meeting nonsense begins tomorrow.


What I Just Finished Reading:


in the night room by Peter Straub, the first half wasn't bad then it turned into male author squicky sex fantasy land. sigh.

Lavender House by Lev A.C. Rosen, had an arc of this. The blurb says it's like a gay Knives Out. Nah, KNives OUt was dull AF. This was more exciting but it's 1952 so there is a ton of homophobia and gay pain driving this.



What I am Currently Reading:

The Wild Ways by Tanya Huff. I'm still super iffy about this series

A Trip with Trouble by Diane Kelly an arc for a cozy mystery, so far not so bad



What I Plan to Read Next: one of the other arcs I have

I'm sitting here shaking my head thinking, you can't make this shit up. Your life! Though I hope you get the contact out. I hated when that happened.

I loved The Enchantment Emporium, and The Wild Ways was good as far as I recall, but I absolutely hated the final book.

Oh good to know. I do have that book and I fear I know what's coming given how squicky sleep with your cousins this series is. As soon as Jack hits sort of legal Charlie will be all over him

ugh, the sex stuff in this is one of the things I hate most about the series. i find it creepy
