My tooth hurts. Basically, the dentist did to it what I did with the temporary amalgate only on a mor permanent (I hope) basis. He pulled out the old filling and put in a new one with struts to support the back half of the tooth which is missing and is now a reconstruction of polymers. It almost looks like a real tooth. I have TMJ. The dentist said he's never seen a jaw so unstable. Every time he touched it the damn thing popped in and out of place. He also said I have a very active tongue (other dentists have told me this) I told him most guys like that.

Also found out that the problem with the gum around that tooth which is 'spreading' is really caused by me brushing too hard (if the other dentist had just said that, maybe the other two teeth wouldn't look so bad). So, less aggravating it with the toothbrush.

However it hurts bad now that the max. dose of anesthetic has worn off. (told him my body runs through that stuff at lightning speed) Figures I have 5 hours of straight lecture tonight and I can barely move my mouth.

Mom called from the Luxor in Vegas to taunt me. She's going on the Star Trek ride again and her and Dad are having lunch at Quark's and she just wanted to rub it in. She wasn't impressed that my tooth hurt.

ah there's nothing worse than tooth ache.

Brushing is a delicate and messy business, I brush too hard too and make my gums bleed, but if I don't, I don't feel I'm cleaning them, tis a viscious circle.

I learned if you brush too hard the gums will retract and then your teeth fall out...spiffy

but if you have no teeth, then no tooth ache, you could then get someting completely pimp tastic, like gold coloured dentures.

no actually, in the directors cut of Another day in Paradise there's a very ugly scene in a very ugly movie where his girlfriend tries to get him to fuck her hard by mocking him and slapping him around until he hits her back and takes her on the floor. You get a very long look of his very little ass while Natalie Woods' daughter talks like a nasty mouthed porn star to him (he was 18 at the time)

1998. It was not a good movie. I have a copy of it. the acting is good but the characters a drug using, thieving murderers one and all. most of VK's movies have NOT thrilled me. The acting is good but his taste in roles....

This must be the day for tooth pain. My mom called me while I was at work to tell me she had just done the stupidest thing: while eating popcorn, she chewed up the procelain veneer from one of her front teeth. She thought the hard parts she was biting was a kernel, not her tooth. And since she'd chewed it up and swallowed it, she couldn't even bring it in to the dentist. She was laughing about it at least. She was on her way to the dentist for a temporary replacement when she called.
