I got my Rockport shoes today. I think they might work. I need to wear them around the house a little more

I'm panicking a bit. How am I going to clean this place before mom arrives in a few weeks? I'm not sure i can. I have such a busy semester. My falls suck it.

I haven't done this in a long time.


What I Just Finished Reading:


Daughter of the Morning Star by Craig Johnson This was a very different Longmire book and different for a mystery in that there is a continuation in the next book.


Six Feet Deep Dish by Mindy Quigley one of my netgalley arc, it wasn't a bad cozy but honestly the lead was irritating



What I am Currently Reading:
The missing place but I'm not sure this is for me. I needed something set in North Dakota for a challenge.



Some true crime by John Douglas


What I Plan to Read Next:

A Haunted History OF Invisible Women: Stories of America's Ghosts by Leanna Renee Hieber & Andrea Janes SO looking forward to this (and Leanna is just the sweetest)

I'm currently reading The Stars Did Wander Darkling by Colin Meloy (surprise surprise, seeing as he is the lead singer of the Decemberists). I am coming up towards the halfway point and quite enjoying it. But it's a middle grade book, so it's hard to say if that would be in your wheel house (though their is some camping and general spookiness in it).

that sounds cool. I'm oddly a sucker for fiction written by musicians

Yeah, this is actually his 5th book! You could try the Wildwood trilogy first or The Whiz Mob and the Grenadine Kid (I particularly liked that one) or just start with this one (just the others are older and likelier to be in a library at this point).

On Day 29, I added 127 words to Zim's story. I'm both tired and not entirely sure where I want this to go, so I didn't want to just ramble, you know?
