Glad I know Frontier

Because if I had taken off work to be here like they wanted me to (as you're supposed to be here when they're scheduled to come but they text to say they're on their way and I work close by so fuck that nonsense). I would have been insanely pissed off.

I get home. System's still down. I wait until 6, one hour after their last estimated time of arrival. I bring up the chat with Frontier to say where the hell's your tech thinking that they probably didn't TELL the tech to come out (which happens a lot). In the middle of this conversation here comes the text, oh we had an unexpected delay, we'll be there tomorrow 1-5. Like I said if I had taken off work....

And I TOLD them that on the chat (which if you bring up anything negative they just ignore it and keep to the script) they in turn told me there was MAJOR issues, too big to fix in one day with a small staff. So maybe just maybe they'll fucking fix it for real.

I was not the only person who turned up with purple hair today. Ha.

To the writers out there, do you have a newsletter? Do you get any interaction? Did you have a book out before it? I had to put this blog down for one submission because they insisted you had to have an author's webpage to submit and I'm like that's an expense especially when you have nothing to put on it. I found that strange.

Writer here- never bothered with a newsletter. If I had a book out, I can imagine doing one, but not before that (what would I talk about in it??).

That's my question. Honestly I don't even read the ones I get but other authors swear it's where they make most of their sales

I have a facebook group. But no I haven't worked on a website or a blog yet.

I just needed the break. And the person running it wasn't really doing anything with it. I'm hoping after I finish this semester, I'll be able to make some stuff to front load. And pick some writing to share.

I hear you. That's the thing, this stuff takes time unless you have someone competent working on it. HOW do some of these authors send me a newsletter every day? More importantly why? I DO NOT want to hear from any author daily (other than the ones I'm friends with. I don't need them sliding into my mailbox with the same nonsense every day with one free book they found somewhere)

Who has time to READ one every day. I get a ton of newsletters, but I rarely read them. I'm trying to pare them down some. I'm going to attempt to do like... 3 posts a week. But we'll see.

One of the things on my LONG list is cleaning gmail and that includes deleting and unsubscribing stuff.

Also romance authors just tend to appear.
