How did this day get away from me

I didn't get much done other than to straighten out Kroger's credit card. Somehow for YEARS I have been paying my credit card on the 20th which is when I thought it was due. I've never received a late fee. This time I did. Turns out it's the 10th and I was right never paid a late fee....wtf? And somehow the confusion on the bill was I paid both Nov and Dec at the same time this time.

Then I headed to Jackson happy I didn't do the cookie walk as it was sold out and crazy and cold and raining. I did sit in the coffee house and finished that damn chapter and started my first fandom tree story. The owner came over after the fourth time I had to get up to shut the door because of the fuckwits who don't know how doors work came in and asked me did I know what I was getting into? Yes I assured her but I didn't think people were too dumb to shut a door. (as yes to the people who turned around to look at me I DID mean you)

I went to Arch and Eddies got my usual, regretted I didn't get something else for a change but I DID get A Tipsy Elf which was basically a white russian rimmed with chocolate and crushed mints and instead of Kahlua had mint mocha Kahlua.

And then I went to the library to make a Korean inspired lotus lantern. It was a fun zoom class with two exceptions: the woman who brought three tweens who did nothing but disrupt everything and said nothing to them and the borderline propaganda video at the end. The Korean cultural center that put this one wanted us to know how great Korean was especially after what happened in the 50s. Fine but my god someone needed to edit this thing as it repeated itself 3 times. They even sent along cultural books and since the rest of the people didn't look interested, I grabbed them all. (there were other copies but I did take what I was interested in) My lantern is still drying. I'll have to get a picture.

And THANK YOU to everyone who chimed in on the nano/plus sized heroine/fanfic thing. I got plenty now. I also thought hey you want to try to publish again next year finally might want to remind people Jana lives and asked on her facebook and now I have plenty.

Day 8 the battle of non-caffeinated teas
Adagio - Honeybush Banana Nut. this is one I already own. It my favorite non-caffeinated tea from them. It is like liquid banana nut bread. Delicious
Yawn Brew - Apple crumble Okay this was a yawn. It was nothing but apple hunks, cranberries elderflower, hibiscus and rose hips. If not for the cinnamon,this would be hot water with a hint of tartness. Blergh

Thats so odd that they never charged you a late fee whenever I have had a credit card they have always been really on it when it comes to late charges.

I love it when my local library hosts craft events. They are usually pretty fun and a way to try something new and see if you like it without having to buy all the stuff first.

I wonder if your credit card was once due on the 20th and they changed it for some reason? It seems odd that you'd pay it on that day for years and suddenly now it's a problem.
