writerly ways delayed again

It's 11 pm and I'm just sitting down. I have allowed things to get a little more out of control than I thought. It took hours to dig up all the gifts I've bought over the year and to wrap them and put them in boxes. I literally just stopped. How I didn't fall and die on the mess is anyone's guess. I'm already feeling bad about some of the gifts. I thought they were great but I'm second guessing myself entirely.

Though a lot of the time I do think maybe gift cards are the way to go to those people I mail gifts to.

Then I nearly posted the wrong chapter to my story because I am literally a crazed mess right now. I haven't even taken a break and I'm already back to work in my head.

I found another perfect looking house on paper until you really look at it and realize no it's definitely not and there's that let down when you realize it.

Day 11 of tea

Adagio - Spiced green. It contained ginger and cinnamon and that's really all you tasted which was fine. It was a very pleasant green.

Yawn Brew - hey they found the one person who knew how to name things. Today's was a black tea Chocolate Cake. It smelled like chocolate cake batter and pretty much tasted like it. Spot on Yawn Brew, spot on. It was tasty.

It sounds like you got a lot done and that's pretty awesome.

Spiced green sounds really good. I am drinking ginger orange tea right now and it is pretty good. I love ginger in tea.

I at least got the gifts done. There is so much more to do before I leave and I am feeling that stress. Tomorrow I have to lug this all into town to mail.

I feel you on the second guessing. I decided to get Pip's sister something different this year and went with a Harry & David fruit basket. After I ordered it, though, I was like, I spent so much money for so little and it's going to seem cheap and I spent so much money on so little . . .
