It has been a weird day. It started very well. Mom and I flew through some last minute shopping, mostly the booze. I found a coffee liquor made here in Pittsburgh but haven't had time to read it (because I kept forgetting to bring my reading glasses down stairs to the bar).

We went to a n ew to us chain place for lunch, Zoup. I had a bite of mom's sandwich. She is now rampagingly ill and I'm a tad queasy so I think that is to blame. Sad because I had mostly the soup a pumpkin pie bisque which was amazingly tasty. I wish I had had more of it and not my own veggie sandwich because the combo was rather pricey for Chipolte level food (well then again so is Chipolte) My half sandwich had literally one tomato and four pieces of baby spinach with a smear of hummus and tzakiki. exceptionally disappointing)

I did get the star trek tree up but no pics yet. I'll get them.

I have no time to write. Sigh. DO check out

fandomtrees there are plenty of people with zero fills (several of them are my friends with zero fandoms in common with me sadly) There is a spread sheet with the amount of fills. I wish I could do more but even with ones with the fandoms I know are pairings I couldn't even fake. I'm finding those I can do

Day 21 of tea

Adagio - Mostly Nuts - mostly imbalanced. It was hazelnuts, apple pieces and rose hips. Way too many rose hips, it was more sour than nutty

Yawn Brew Gingerbread - Black tea, star anise, cinnamon, cocoa and chamomile. It needed more spice but otherwise good.
