Happy New Year's

I should have been at my brother's for a quiet party but literally I am the only one not sick. So we're here watching reruns. I helped mom scratch off the lottery tickets she was given one for every year of life. I now need a gofundme for my carpal tunnel.





Today somehow ended up with me getting very little done again. Like as little as when I was gone for hours. All I managed were my syllabi. I can't believe I'm back in 2 weeks. Where did December go.

As the above picture suggests, I'm a little worried about 2023. The 2020s have sucked for almost everyone. I'm afraid of hoping for too much. So I'll do a little goals post tomorrow. I won't do the happy things of 2022 until I get back because once again I forgot my good-things jar.

It was day two of me not touching fandomtrees but sadly that means the story I want to work on. I just don't seem to be finding time.





But one last thing before I go and try to write. Have 2022's writing totals. I am proud of myself. I submitted so much. I didn't succeed in getting it published but I tried harder than I have in years and years. I'll put the totals under a cut because it might mess up your screens and someone bitched last time so I shall be kind.

101787 / 50000 words. 204% done!


Fanfic word count

259368 / 25000 words. 1037% done!

Here's wishing for all the best for all my friends. May 2023 be a damn sight better than 2022
