I made it home. Rocket is fine and FAT. Boy he packs it on for winter, his fur is twice as thick too. I thought I was getting better but half way here, the sinus pain got a lot worse. I'll go to urgent care tomorrow. I THINK my held mail should be delivered today. Ah well, i'll go to my usual health system which has my insurance and hopefully will let let skim by without a new card if my mail doesn't arrive. I would pull out my teeth if I thought it would take away the sinus pain (the teeth hurt, boy do they hurt)

I only unpacked what I had to so my place is stuffed with boxes.

So vindication? Aunt S2 went to a different doctor today who went WHY has no one sent you to a wound care doctor?!? So she'll be seeing one now. JUST LIKE I SAID. (my parents seem vaguely shocked by this, much like always when I'm right. I really am good at diagnositic. I should have been House instead of the field I did go into.)


I am SHOCKED by my fandom tree gifts. I got several (some I'll share individually on Friday with my usual fanfic round up) but only two were actual fandom (Fullmetal Alchemist and The Owl House) Most were original. That was the shock. I just tossed out the idea I like cryptid/folklore stories and I got a small handful. They are great. You can see my tree here and you can find the the whole AO3 collection here.

Do you have a neti pot? My brother gets wicked sinus infections and swears by the neti pot rinse to get all that guck out and really helps with the pain.

Thanks. I agree with your brother. I use the premade stuff like simply saline and it does work (also the saline kills viruses and bacteria) which I think is why I was not as severely affected as my parents.

My cats always fatten up in the wintertime and then shed like crazy afterwards. joys of being a cat owner. lol

This cat is the most extreme of the ones I've had. Fluffy chonk
