I took mom to Macy's to look for wedding attire. Didn't find anything but they have greatly expanded the plus size to a full half of the clothing. Lots of nice stuff just not what either of us wanted/needed.

I did however go to Michael's to spend a gift voucher and it was nice because they had the fall stuff 40% off. I got a garland of fall leaves/pine cones/acorns to make a hat for my cardinal (have him) and blue jay (still need) and I picked up a few other things for a doctor's hat so now I have the makings of two more steampunk hats, one for my doctor persona and the other an aether woodland witch. I have hopes for both of them. Sadly the LeMax Halloween village stuff was not yet on sale. Keeping a close eye.


Went grocery shopping and saw the Halloween candy out already. Yikes.

Today was the last of it, the last of the classes. Next week is finals.

As much as I didn't really want to, I went to the winery with L since she seemed like she needed someone to go with her. THey had a warm mulled wine cider thing that was absolutely delicious. We dragged TH along with us and I got a new to me sweet wine for mom and I over the holidays, a black raspberry one.

I am fishing for ideas. Dan has been iffy about Howell and I think it will have more impact if they're friends when he learns about Howell (he has a big secret but he's not a villain/won't betray them) Thoughts on what might bond guys (besides sports)

Day 2 of teas

Adagio - Passionfruit Tango...not a tango. It's mostly lemon grass and nonsense. I don't really like herbals (nor should I have much of it as many of them like chamomile interferes with blood thinners) I mean it wasn't awful but it didn't taste of passionfruit, mostly just a bright citrus note and the lemon grass is so thin it slipped out of the defuser and floated like sadness in my mug


Yawn Brew - Toffee apple - lucky me another herbal. Even seeing chunks of apple in it it tasted like well Adagio's Candy apple, so vaguely like apple and a bit of artificial caramel, again not horrible, kinda good but nothing I'd be running to Yawn Brew to buy.

I almost didn't do my fan recs tonight because my mouse wasn't working but I got mad, slammed it and now it's working. Guess I taught it.

OMG I've been to every store around and all I can find is the long tray kind that I already have and huge pots I could put a few tomatoes in or a tree that will become a problem later. I'm going to be stuck with the tray which is going to allow this bonsai to spread. SIGH. I don't know how to fix this in a way I'm going to like. So thanks for the giant barrels of pots everyone.

I did get a little more done today on the living room. I wish I was better at cleaning. It makes me physically ill even with my masks and gloves because of my allergies. I swear if I get a house, I need to see if I can find money for a cleaner. Seriously.

I did take a coffee house break and got more of my 'short' unconventionalromance written. I really need to get this moving because I want to get to my It Came From the Trailer Park story moving and I feel like I'm going to fail.

Speaking of trailer parks and the paranormal I made myself a little sad today because I found really a great house in Point Pleasant WV here's the house. Now if it was move in ready I'd be at the bank on monday. Look at those display cases in the basement! I'd turn this thing into the Geek-Heaven. However EVERY floor needs either redone (hard wood) or replace (linoleum) and the roof needs replaced too you can see it in the pics so I looked into it and it's another 30-50K to fix it (especially if I decide to repaint) and that's not even touching that 1950s kitchen. SIGH.

Work is becoming intolerable between overwork and things I can't discuss openly but have made me so angry I can't even think. The only good part of this day was the Wellness Committee came up with exciting things and I found out that in spite of being ignored by those running the school pool I can in fact use it.

I managed to twist my knee today just walking and I'm in SO MUCH pain.

Worse, I just don't know what to do with the cat. I KNOW it's too soon to take on a cat. I KNOW this. We have NO cat shelters here none. None of my local friends can help so it seems. Some friends are worried about me taking him in. As ELD said you will have to watch every step you take. I know. I already do actually but this place is such a mess, I shouldn't have a cat here but there's no one to help me. Either I take him or he reminds outside and will die, if not on the road then by the coyotes. I hate this. I don't know what to do and it's making me cry. I feel like I'm never getting my life back.
