All of us are having issues with the online portions of our classes. It's a clusterfuck. At least the rest of the stuff seems to be going well.

I think the Zpack blitzkreiged my gut flora. Today was not pretty. Nuff said. I will have to run to town for probiotics as the yogurt has done diddly.

Look Alive Twenty-Five by Janet Evanovich, a bit silly, a little more fun than several of the last ones in this series

The Black Cauldron by Lloyd Alexander, I had a couple reread prompts (eye roll, I am not a rereader) so this was one of them. It is a solid fantasy series

Maus I: A Survivor's Tale: My Father Bleeds History by Art Spiegelman heart breaking graphic novel and am furious that it's being so widely banned for 'nudity' (let's call it what it is, anti-semitism) It's well worth getting this out of a library (to give them more proof people want these books)

I've yet to see a valid reason for banning Maus.

I am on the fencing about re-reading. I used to do a lot of it when I was younger but not so much as I've gotten older.

Same here. It's always flimsy shit (nudity is the one I hear recently)

Like you I was a rereader when I was young but seriously I think that stopped once I hit med school. I had no time for that and now I have So.Many.Books. I can't make a dent in them let along reread stuff

That's the most recent one I've heard as well. Ironically enough it caused me to re-read it because I couldn't recall the nudity in the book.

I read Maus (both parts) when they first began to ban it. I think it's a great book.

I do too. It is a book worth reading and I want to kick the people banning it because I'm fairly sure they deserve it

It really was. People aren't helping themselves by banning things. I'm surprised we haven't had banning issues here, but I haven't heard anything yet.
