How are the days going so fast

It seems like I'm barely awake and the day is over. Today was put fires at work out. I have a research student I didn't know about who emailed me and asked what is this about? At least they did that much because now I have to panic and figure out a research project.

We went to a local wing joint for dinner only to come home. They were making 700 wings for a party and all the in-house diners would be at least an hour wait. And that's a no.

I keep getting distracted from my writing. I hate that but I can't focus (I know why) I hope so.

What I Just Finished Reading:

Andújar: The Robot Gentleman of San Juan by Carolina Cardona - a Puerto Rican steampunk This was sort of a hot mess


Cat in a Vegas Gold Vendetta by Carol Nelson Douglas. hot garbage. there were like 8 plots, 1 new and 7 you had to read previous books to have a clue about

Exorcist: The Legacy - if you want an amazingly overly detailed look at the making of the books/movies this was good


What I am Currently Reading:


Queen of the Night by J.A. Jance - each chapter has like 6 different pov characters. I'm not sure about this one.

Case of the Bleus a mystery arc from netgalley. So far so good.
