cornerofmadnessThe Sound of Her Wings hits WAY fucking harder at 56 than it did at 22 when I first read Death's one-shot. She's still one of my favorite characters and that is still one of my favorite stories in all of the graphic novel genre.
That said I had a big post planned about a) Sandman b) aging but then I had a major sugar crash (the diabetic cat is fine, I'm the one who nearly went out) so that will wait.
Instead I'll ask the question that came to me in the pool today. If you could send a message back to your younger self, what would you say? My answer tomorrow as I'm almost okay 4 hours later but there was a good hour of struggling not to a) throw up b) fall asleep which would be risky in that state.
For music monday something that would have gone well with the planned talk
