Doctor stuff

cornerofmadnessSo today I went to the dentist and realize I've been so distraught over work issues (I refused to look at my email today, sorry students, I'm doing what you do, hide and pretend it'll go away) that I forgot to mention this week's health journey.
I went to the OB/GYN on tuesday. It went well enough I do have to get an ultrasound along with the mammogram because of a mass near the right axilla. I'm not worried about it. It gets larger and smaller all the time so it's either a node or another cyst. cancer doesn't do that.
I also need another ultrasound on the uterus and some blood tests because of spotting. It could be a sign of endometrial cancer which again we're not too worried about it but I do have risk factors (so yay transvaginal ultrasounds and all the fun of can you go pee just a little and stop because we need water in your bladder but not that much. Yeah I'll get right on that. Have YOU tried doing this DMS tech?)
The doc also mentioned one treatment for this is the mirena IUD which is so odd and off script. I'll consider it if it comes to it (also not at all opposed to hysterectomy. With my luck it'll fall out on its own)
As for the dentist, I don't get this guy. It's one of the reasons I really want to find a third one. I don't dislike him and the crowns he's done have been very good and painless but he makes strange choices. They did a routine cleaning and he's like you know you have two broken teeth not one. Second left upper and second right lower, yes I know. Remember the upper broke the night you did the crown next to it but it's a small chip.
Unfortunately it's also rotting under that crack. He wants to fix that first. Um what about the lower one? You know the one I'm missing HALF THE TOOTH? The one I'm cutting my tongue on? He looks at me surprised. 'You want that one first? Okay we'll do that then.'
I was so befuddled (often a feeling leaving this guy) I forgot to ask why the hell can't we make two appointments and you fill the cavity under that chip since it doesn't need a crown or DOES it need a crown and you know I can't do two in a year (I'm not even sure I didn't get one in January because I think I did). Anyhow I'm going to call and ask that tomorrow.
I hit Gabe's looking for sheets but was so excited to see a sign reading Scrubs that I literally forgot about the sheets. You know what, when I started seeing patients scrubs were so big and loose everyone looked like we were wearing gunny sacks. I still weigh the same (sadly) but now you can barely find them to fit. All the adorable Halloween ones and none in my actual size fits. The one the next size up does fit (though I might slit the bottom seam a little more to make it lay better) I'm like where are you getting these TINY sizes (they're all at least 1-2 sizes smaller than they should be).
I also found a cute zebra sweatshirt at TJ Maxx. I didn't get the toilet paper holder though. It was chintzy and ugly (Did I mention I broke mine? After 19 years the metal fatigued and broke)
I found this house It's way overpriced for what it is but I jokingly sent it to the parentals because I was enthralled with the greenhouse. Dad being dad google earthed it and said did you see that it looks like there are Adena/Hopewell mounds behind it? No I hadn't I was more worried about how many hours I'd live with basement stairs like that (Because I WILL die on them) I look, he's not wrong (and this IS Indigenous mound builder area) and then I really look at the address and think, let me guess some horrible orphanage was in this area in the 1800s. I am pretty certain I have a new winner for a new horror novel.
By the way did any of you hear about
this?
I hadn't until Flippy sent the link and this morning the video popped up. I have VERY conflicted feelings. I find Golden's writing hit and miss. I did end up Spiked out by the end of both series (mostly thanks to Marti) so here we are... Tara and Cordy died so are we in a different time line? (But I hope both Amber and Charisma are standing there giving Joss the middle finger). Would I take a peek? Yeah but I am very unsure about this.

yeah it does sound like BTVS fanfic. (Granted Golden does write that and I haven't enjoyed most of it)
