It's been a weird week. A lot of it I can't talk about but trust me it's been weird and ugly. and the skunk is only part of it.

Speaking of which Rocket hated the mousse de-stinker too. Luckily he mostly smells okay now. That hydrogen peroxide/baking soda/soap mix really worked (and he felt so soft) he's now very upset with me and the house in general. Sigh.

Last night I was reading in bed and saw movement out of the corner of my eye. A spider was lowering herself onto my face. I screamed, batted her away and found her under my pillow. Tried to transfer her out but she disappeared from the towel. Maybe I should sleep on the couch.

Was looking at my test results. Well I saw the mammo at the clinic and other than the same deep cyst no one cares about including me, it was fine. The uterine ultrasound didn't come out well not surprising as mine is flopped over backwards because why be normal? The blood work says I should be post menopausal so I'll probably get called back in. Fine, I'm already thinking about when to jam in a hysterectomy.

From there I went to the Apple festival. Honestly it's not a good festival for anyone but kids. (they had a nice blop of rides this year) I went to the library's book sale. blech. (yay for no temptation), the craft sale (also rather blah, got an orange zucchini bread) and walked the midway (found rosettes had to buy them as I love those cookies) even on thursday at 2 pm there was no place to walk. I did find a book about the Civil War (about Morgan's raid) by a local fellow who didn't sell as many of them as he had wanted because they were cheap. Dad now has a birthday gift.

Came home and failed to remember my [community profile] wipbigbang was due today mostly because I had NO FUCKING IDEA it was already the 21st of September. HOW?!? Posted it tonight. I'll link it tomorrow with the fannish recs and the stuff from Tuesday? Yeah maybe next Tuesday?

And then something slapped me upside the head. Something else changed last year (besides menopause as I've been in that for a while now) I started that med for itching which can double for anxiety last year. I looked it up. Yes MANY meds for anxiety/depression can fuck with diabetic meds. OMG why? ANd why did no one at the pharmacy catch this?

Well CVS can't even get it right that I want ONE fucking month at a time and they wanted me to come back if I wanted to give back 2 months. I took it all because why not have three fucking months of insulin in the fridge. 'I apologize' you know what fuck your apology. I told you, literally YOU, at this window 3 days ago to please renew it and only one month. I am not taking your apology and I'm not apologizing for my rage. Yes to some people 3 months at a time is helpful. NOT when it takes a literal shelf up in my fridge and if this was January this would have cost me over 1000$ (which is a separate issue)

I hate spiders because they have so many legs and can move sooooo fast! You never know where they went or where they'll show up next. *shudder*

Good catch on the med interaction! Very annoying that no one caught that before.

Sounds like you might have found the culprit! I have a friend who is itching like crazy but it is absolutely nothing skin related. She's had every test known to man including her liver, which is fine. We wonder if hers is menopause related. Is that like your itching or was it something else? I feel bad for her. Her doctor isn't doing a thing. Go home and live with it. More doctors are like that these days. :(
