I'll just cut it from the get go and you can assume it's spoilery for whatever's aired in the States
Okay I never saw S1 and just dove into S2. I'm getting the hang of though the totally bland cookie cutter men (barring Wallace) isn't making it easy. To be honest Wallace and Veronica (and her dad) are the only ones I actually like. I guess I like the show but I'm not over the moon about it. Masq postulated maybe it overdosing on High School drama as of late between early Buffy, Smallville and Roswell (though I never watched that one). i think some of my disatisfaction is with the sheer soap opera ness of a lot of it. I hate soaps. I'm not much on romances so a lot of the VM back story annoys the crap out of me.

That said, I'm there for the mystery. I do like that. I want to know about the bus crash. My question is, did I miss an episode or do the writers really think Wallace's off hand remark about it being weeks since the last epi really covers it? It didn't for me. I was annoyed. Does VM do this often? two weeks ago bombshells were dropped. VM's investigations not only revealed her old boyfriend is doing Charisma but that whole rich family is into real estate fraud. And she breaks into boyfriend current's home and sobs 'the crash was meant for her' and the one last week didn't carry on ANY of these themes. It was jarring.

I didn't much buy into anyone actually believing VM was old enough to do investigations (which is illegal. Could cost her Dad a lot) nor the way Dad let go of the fact he knows she's sleeping with her boyfriend and that she's misrepresenting his PI agency.
