And yeah I have endometrial cancer. Not really the diagnosis anyone wants. The good news is a) mirena iud's can slow it down (already placed) b) it's grade 1 which is the beginning stages.

So the move here is a complete hysterectomy. I wanted a moment to look over my choices a) pittsburgh which has some of the best medical in the country b) columbus and the James c) huntington and the edward. After saying that she comes up with btw you need to go back every 3 months for 2 years then every 6 months for 5 years.

Sorry to make you come back so much. I look at her and say I see endocrinology every 3 months for 20 years now, I'm fine with it.

But that probably means The Edward cancer center because I can keep running to Pittsburgh and Columbus is a pain in my ass. The James is associated with OSU's medical school and The Edward is with Marshall and I think either will be good.

I have to see the oncologist first and hopefully there is no spread into the nodes and I choose to believe it has not until we learn otherwise. I'll let you k now when I have to have the surgery

Oh, man, that sucks, and I’m so sorry you have to go through all that. I’m glad they caught it early, though; the survival rates are really good! And while the reason for the hysterectomy is not good, I know it’s something you wanted. I only wish they’d have let you have one sooner. *hugs*

Oh shit, that's indeed news nobody wants or needs. You really could have been spared this! ***tight, fierce, hugs***
But having caught it early is important, and your general approach towards health stuff will doubtlessly get you the best possible care as quickly as possible.
Sending tons of energy, healing vibes and prayers! ♥♥♥

I've been through a pre-cancerous stage of this eleven years ago, caught very early and successfully dealt with by hormonal treatment (plus additional holisitc treatment as my gyn is also doing that, since there was no other regular treatment for this stage), and I got off with just three months of hormone-induced misery but no surgery, and nothing else since. I'm sure the positive energy of that must be good for something, so have it all! ***hugs***
