I am disapppointed

The fall is the most colorful in years. I can't go for hikes because if I fall I don't get my surgery. If I get sick I don't get my surgery. And this is SO disappointing. So I had to give up all the ghost stuff and all the hiking. Ah well, there's nothing to do about it but it does make me a little sad.

Adding to the anxiety is the fact I can't get mom to move off the idea she's coming here and cleaning up my house while I can't move around so well (and she will because she's done it in the past.) She's going to make me nuts.

I am desperately trying to finish my spook_me story. Crap keeps happening in work that sucks up every moment of time.

A Midlife Mountain Murder by Julie Ecker (sholio) and it's one of the better amateur sleuth mysteries I've read this year. It was fun.

I'm sorry you are having to put your plans on hold, but I think you are right and it is better to err on the side of caution.

I wish I could give you advice about what to say to your mom, but I have the same problem with mine and nothing I say changes what she feels she needs to do. lol
