That's my door wreath behind my head. Mom thought it was a headdress. I wish I was that talented.

You're very welcome. Yeah, you're like me with the PCOS, right? At least I got diagnosed pretty young...

Yes. I didn't realize (or remember if you've told me before) you had it as well. Mine was not diagnosed until long after I had tons of symptoms like the massive weight gain and hair loss

Oh, yes, I have it too. I had gained more weight than the usual 'freshman fifteen' and as soon as I graduated college, my mom took me to see her endocrinologist where I was diagnosed with that (along with a few other things).

Mine happened in med school, gained 100 pounds. They chalked it up to stress

A whole 100 pounds due to stress? Yeah, that sounds likely to me. [insert big eyeroll here]

yeah the one teaching me diagnosis saw me after me being gone a month on an externship and she thought it was chemo that had done it to me (confusing me with my cousin who was married to a fellow student)
