to the Italian grocery we go. Mom and I headed to Federico's to get some holiday goodies like high quality prosciutto, salamis, pepperonis, cheese and other things. I hauled off a big jar of lupini beans for snaking and olives so many olives. I'm here in my happy corner sucking down briny things.
We also hit Primanti Brother's for a big ol' sandwich (Pittsburgh chain for about 90 years now yum)
And during all of this it rained...sleeted...snowed...HAILED and the wind was enough to blow you from PA to OH (sounds dramatic these three state lines but it's like 23 miles at best)
How about a little twist on music monday? Every week a new letter represented. You've seen this challenge before. So the group/solo act has to start with the letter of the week and if you want you can borrow this for you blog or drop your music into the comments here. Let's have some fun with this. Share some music with me
Letter M
Too many M bands!!
I have to admit that I didn’t remain a lifelong Madonna fan (I can definitely take or leave her now) but as a teen, she was a huge influence. Not gonna lie, I had the lace gloves (still do, I wear them for steampunk now), the cross earrings, the layered lace skirts, the everything. Tragic.
Speaking of my teen years (and problematic creators) I couldn’t do this list without Michael
Here’s one of my favorites from Metallica
Okay this one is for Evil Little Dog but I have to admit, they had catchy tunes
For the angsty goth in me
The only kind of Meatloaf I ever liked
I’m getting less good at hiding my crazy
A lot of her stuff is just fun
Do love me some jazz
Some of Martina’s stuff will tear your heart out

Date: 2023-12-19 07:46 pm (UTC)I love me some Martina McBride she has such a great voice. In fact I love songs from pretty much all of these artists. I probably would've added Muse to the list as well.
