Hope everyone in the snow zone is okay

cornerofmadnessHere outside of Pittsburgh we're okay. We didn't get much (but it delayed taking my uncle to the home until tomorrow). Back home there's about a foot of snow. From what I can see by Buckeye Rural electric's outage maps the power IS on which is good. That means I can go home on time on Thursday. We'll see if we have that meeting. School was closed today and tomorrow and the snow emergency hasn't been lifted so there is zero travel allowed.
So I somehow wasted this whole day. I didn't write as much as I wanted to for![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
fandomtrees. I'm down to the very last one I can do (I did post one last night) that's still needed for empty trees. I might do one or two in my fandoms for fun. Check out the list of needy trees. I know a few of you write in those fandoms(but maybe not those pairings because dang there are some wild ones)
Have you noticed I didn't write the Christmas ghost story yet....yeah probably not seeing that any time soon. Sorry, maybe next year.
It's funny Mom's friend (the one I don't like) was extolling this butter infused olive oil she brought mom for the holidays (probably off QVC) and I've had other butter flavored ones so I was happy enough to put some on my parsley potatoes tonight only I swear I was at Cinemark theaters with a bucket of popcorn. THAT was the taste of the butter. shudders.
Either I have a moth in my closet or fairies or something because ALL my t-shirts are turning up with small holes in them even brand new ones so I was sewing it up. Mom said let me do it. No, I have it mom. Afterward she looks at it and says that is really good stitching. I'm side eyeing her, 'I'm a surgeon, mom. I should hope I can put in a good stitch.'
Let's continue with the Music Monday and we're sharing songs that contain a certain color. Since we finished the rainbow, let's pick up colors not on the rainbow. Today we're doing BLACK since we did white last week. Feel free to chime in with your favorite song(s) that follow the weekly letter. Hit me with your favs. I love hearing new music or revisiting older pieces.

And I just learned tonight, watching the Creature from the Black Lagoon, that the woman the creature wants became Eve Simpson of Cabot Cove and friend to Jessica Fletcher. Who knew.
