Today was a lot of things I didn't need

Like having to yell at a credit card I barely use for having these weird 1$ charges on it and then when I didn't pay them charging me 30$ in late fees. I hadn't noticed because like a dipshit I didn't look last month because I hadn't used the card (they did take off the 60$ in fees IF I paid the 2$ of min. charges (that they still couldn't tell me what they were)

Like not being able to find my goddamn sandals. I tore apart the closet. Nothing. I KNOW I put them in a bag when I was running hot cleaning that room because they m ight have needed to get into the water pipes. I check my bedroom. Nope not there. I check the coat closet. Nope not there. Finally I give up, angry at myself and decide to move a bag of books...and at some point I had taken out the books and put in the sandals...are you fucking kidding me?

Like this low key nausea worrying I might be coming down with that stomach flu

Like waking up to an inch of snow on my car after it being nearly 70 for like 4 days. HA.

At least my passport was where it was supposed to be. And ditto my swimsuits.

Why is it so hard to pick clothes for 5 days?

Speaking of things I don't need, June's Journey, the hidden object game. I started playing it and it's entertaining enough but one of the things it wants is for me to join a group which I don't want to do but I page through them at least two are pro-Trump. It's right in the name but last night I clicked on one with a cute name but the write up is 'You have to love this country and not be a DEMONcrat.' Again are you fucking kidding me? This is supposed to be a little club to do challenges on this game (Which I don't care about because I know you can't win unless you pay money which I'm not about to do) and there are more than one group who can't manage that without being political nutjobs.


But on a better note I DO have some community recs for dreamwidth dick_or_treat renamed itself super_effucktive and should be up and running. it's a porny challenge with titles based on Pokemon moves (no I don't know why) It's low pressure and fun and speaking of pokemon, did you hear about the person with more money than sense who spent nearly 90K for a cheeto that looks like a pokemon critter?

Also want to rec marchmetamatterschallenge which is sort of explained by the name. I don't do a lot of meta (I do have some ideas but time is a thing I don't have) And I'm thinking of joining hurtcomfortex because I miss the hurt comfort community but I'm on the fence about a writing exchange. Shall I or shalt I?

Ugh, snow. We haven't had snow, but cooler temps are back and I'm not a fan.

I hope you're not getting sick! Sometimes I make myself feel sick when I'm worried about getting sick. Or worried about anything. Maybe all the crap is making you feel sick?

Packing for five days is hard because you still have to cover every contingency! Is it going to be warm, cold, rain, etc?

we think it was the fact that my January payment didn't go in on time but that didn't show when I did pay and the 1 $ charge was the min payment. Who knows

My stomach is a mess, has been most of my life. It's probably just the stress

Do you need the annoying credit card or could you just use another one to cover what you need and cancel the one that's giving you inexplicable fees?

Re the clothes - do you have options like cardigans where you could pack a bunch of shirts and then use a cardigan if it gets cold?

Re the hurt/comfort challenge - have you checked if there are ample fandoms you're into nominated so you'd find a good match for the person writing for you and the one you'd be writing for?

It does depend on what else you'll have going on, but 1000 words (or more if you choose) sounds like you could likely do them in a day or two if you put your mind to it and it sounds like you'll have ~2 months?

Well, it might be more than an hour if you need to plan for the specific request and you want to edit it afterwards, but even factoring that in, I can't really see you need more than a couple of days.

It's stuff that'd need to be done before you can submit it, so I'd factor it in, but I don't see you take more than two, perhaps three days for the whole thing, so you could probably write it sometime in March after you received your assignment and then see when you have the time/motivation to do the edit in April/May?
So if you want to do it, go for it?
