Oddly enough only one show I like has been cancelled (that's unusual. When I like a new show that usually means they're slated to die fast). I liked Nightstalker but I was apparently I was in a minority

Shows that are on the chopping block - Well, I stopped watching Bones weeks ago and put NCIS in its place but that's starting to irk me too. Veronica Mars, after the asinine showing of the past few weeks, I say good day. This show quickly became like a cheese grater on skin.

Shows that are really catching my eye - Numb3rs, boy I'm sorry I missed season one, Criminal Minds, quickly becoming a fast favorite. Fullmetal Alchemist - I haven't seen an anime that I really love in such a long time so this is fun


Shows that are surprisingly just there - all of the Law and Orders, no real clunkers but not enough stand outs this year

they redid it this year with Stuart Townsend. It lacked some of the silly humor of the old one (which I loved) but I thought it was the best of the supernatural shows this year. I hate Supernatural and Ghost Whisperer....I find hard to swallow

I didn't know it had been redone! And ack, Stuart Townsend. Not fond of him. We havne't had any of the shows you mentioned, tho Veronica Mars is suppo9sed to be coming. I'll give it a look, but everyone seems to be cheesed at the second season.

the die hard VM fans are still blathering about it but yeah most of my flist is NOT liking it.

I'm no Townsend fan either but I thought he did a good job in this. It was intellectual. BAD thing to be these days

Yeah, i hear you on that. It pisses me off when shows like the woeful Everyone Loves Raymond go for years, and the really good stuff gets canned so quick. (and I went on a hating Raymond rant after I had the misfortune to see an episode where Debra the Wife got a part time job, and everyone was upset about it because she wasn't going to be home with the kids and the housework..where she obviously belongs....) Course, I hated that show before that ep, but I went into a slathering blathering hate-filled rage after that one..

I never liked the show period. And yes I do hate that too. It's like damn, why is the public so dumb. Why do they always go for the lowest common denominator

The other thing that gets me about sitcoms is the God Fear they all have. They go along with not a mention of god the whole time, then suddenly tehre's a christmas episode that's full of loving god and believing in god, or there will be an episode where a kid says something about god, and suddenly the parents are saying how god does this and that and whatever. i mean, wtf??? Are tehy all so scared in these white bread shows of coming out and saying they dont' believe or somethign?????

Criminal Minds is a great show. I like the intensity of it and how different it is.

I'm very disappointed that Night Stalker's gone as well. I enjoyed it, particularly that an African American woman had such a large role - as well as being Kolchak's immediate superior. That was cool.
