I've taken up knitting again. It's been a while. I'm taking bets on how long it'll take me to accidentally poke out an eye. I lost one needle under the couch before I even had it clear of the bag...

And you know what I need, a New Year's icon...

Knitting and me..non-mixy things, I'm afraid. I know how, but I am not very good at it. I once made a sweater. It took me 2 years, and I hated the damn thing by the time I finished, and since it was in 4 ply cotton, it weighed about 20 pounds. Had to give it to a friend's husband (it was dark green, pullover type). Haven't made a thing since then.
My friend Michele is a knitting nut..even went to Ireland to take lessons from a knitting master.
Have fun, and maybe wear some goggles....hee.
