Joy

A few days okay tinpanalley suggested to her flist to post about joy especially since we all so often post about what's bothering us but less often about things that make us happy. In no particular order

- beautiful fall days

-walking in the woods

- being near water, lakes even more so than oceans

- animals

- friends and family even though they occasionally drive me nuts they're usually there when i need them

- writing, even if I never publish again I have gotten great joy from my writing

- reading, always looking for a new book

- music, any kind

- learning a good new recipe

- finding a new fandom

-long hot baths (even better with a good book and a glass of wine)

- flowers

- museums

- the arts in general

i'm sure there's more but sadly there is hint of no joy here...need to go clean the kitchen since the house elves went on strike
