Look here for the first books I've read this year
Manga Review. THis is up at a community I'm co-mod of and I'd like to see it moving again. bookheaven and seeing how many on my flist who are interested in talking about books, I thought now would be the time to revive it.

Also mjules and marlex are looking into starting up an animation convetion in Charlotte NC. Here's a snippet from mjules's LJ - if anybody would be interested in attending - either as an attendee or as a fan-vendor, or even a professional vendor if you're in the industry - a con in Charlotte, NC on Memorial Day Weekend 2008 (We really don't have time to get it done by 2007, unless we get a LOT of interest REALLY fast). So, please, everyone post this up on your LJ's, pass it around. Tell interested parties to email queencityanime@yahoo.com, please, and let us know of the nature of your interest. If we have enough preliminary interest, we'll see what we can do about getting this party started.
