Hmm it occured to me when I woke at 4 AM and couldn't return to sleep that the day after I bought this batch of Byetta that I accidentally forgot to put in the fridge for hours. Distraught I calld CVS and they called the manufacturer and they both said it should be fine in spite of that. I believed them because they would NOT hesitate to make me buy another 200$ vial of medicine.

But my sugar went out of whack right then and there. So maybe. I called the endocrinologist today so we'll see. BUT interestingly enough one of the other profs here has the same doc and he too was put on Byetta and then insulin and byetta since it stopped working. When I called Doc's receptionist and gave her my message, she said the same damn thing. She was on Byetta but had to go to insulin too.

there willbe no TOO in my case. i will NOT inject myself four times a day. Pick one...
