So today i'm explaining karyotyping and genetic mutations and inheritable diseases to my non-majors. I slap up a karyotype (it's a colorful array of chromosomes) and point out the Y chromosome and show how small it is. THen I mention that we are slow evolving and losing the Y chromosome and at the current rate of evolution we won't have any males in @ a billion years.

All the girls snickered and in BOTH classes we had guys shout out. "Freeze us now! You don't want to miss out!" The girls just laughed harder.

speaking of guys I want to go out drinking with mzzgoddessblue She and I would never compete for the same guy in 100 years. We would be totally safe to hang out together

i suppose if the research said that females would become obsolete in a billion years it would cause me some consternation, to be totally fair. but yes, the fact that it's happening to guys makes me giggle. clearly, they're just nature's beta test. *snerk*

well i'm assuming we females will, much like reptiles, gain the ability of parthnogenesis, virgin births. As for the other, we'll be smart enough to find other ways of sealing jars ;-)

I honestly do like the skinny men and the girly ones. You know really I think VK is cute enough but not rampagingly hot. I like Connor's character (now I've seen almost every VK does but i hate his choice in movies). I also have, and have always had since grade school, found Asians and Native American's very attractive. It's something to do with the dark hair, dark eyes.

but yes evolving away from men amuses me darkly

I sorta swing back and forth between two types: scruffy and boyish. That's why I'm both insanely attracted to Connor and Wesley. Dark, scruffy, tormented Wes just makes me melt. And I preferred Aragorn to Legolas.

In real life though, I'm often attracted to boyish types.

see here you have lecture and that's the actual class. A tutorial is something you go to when you're struggling to understand the lectures

Whether we can skip or not depends on the lecturer usually (lol), and 200 people in the class is one of our SMALL clases. We can hardly ever ask questions or discuss or anything. And we rarely have tutorials, even when we do there always tends to be too many people. *headdesk*

like i said here is different. You have lecture and you all attend. tutorial is something for people who need a little extra help and can be either small groups or one on one
