Seriously body, what? I felt better today. I thought wow the insulin must be working. I go home, take my sugar it's 330. It jumped 100 points with my good diet (ate all the right things in moderation) and took my insulin and my body FREAKED OUT. If it hadn't been friday at 5 pm I would have called the doc.

So I say screw it and ate the Easter candy i bought for the office and had some pasta, all the stuff I SHOULDNT eat and my sugar dropped 150 points. The only thing i can think of is i'm dieting. I think my body thinks its starving and my liver is just dumping out sugar like mad. The better I eat the worse it gets. I eat like a moron and my body is happier...which blows. I have to lose weight but if my sugar is going to do that I can't do it safely. I'll have to play with this and do tests.

Then i get home to find out the student loans took my entire 2000$ refund. Go me. Well I know how to handle that next time. And then i learn the loan I AM paying on to Sallie Mae might be sold because SM got sued for being crooks. Head desk.

I did however take some pictures recently and wanted to share them. Two are of Easter dinner inspired by trixiefatcat to take the pictures.

I just love it when I'm on the side of canon and Ed/Winry are now so canon it's not funny...okay it WAS funny. Ed being a total moron about it and poor Winry going WHY do i like this freak just had me busting a gut. (and hey the story i posted last night so fits in with this).

And Kimbley, oh he had me laughing. Why do i love him so much? He's evil and sexy evil...but him asking Ed if his brain broke and offendedly remarking he's NOT a pedophile slayed me (so Kimbley DOES have limits, who knew...or at least pretends to have them)

Eh, Olivia still continues to disappoint. Her killing Raven was about the only thing I've liked about her so far.

Roy...you are almost as much of a spazz as Ed. I'm pretty sure Olivia doesn't like you and I can almost hear you thinking she's blonde and has big boobs and can beat me up, damn that's hot. Sheesh. But you still talking to Maes....heart breaking.

And the biggest HOLY HELL was the last scenes with Riza and Selim. I so did not see that coming. That is amazingly cool. I find it interesting that Riza along with a few others (Ling, Ran Fan, Hughes) can sense the homunculi. Now i'll be biting nails waiting to see what happens to HER next

What kind of exercise are you able to do? That might be more effective than just dieting alone. Well, I'm sure you already know that, but I'm not sure what kind of stuff you're able to do, especially without a gym.

Pretty much none as it turns out. I could walk but there's no place to even do THAT. I guess i could walk circuits around Wal Mart... i've tried some very low impact ones here but my knees and ankles can't deal with it

it's definitely bizzaro world in my body.

the asparagus is very simple. cut up garlic (or use garlic powder or both)line pan with tin foil, place asparagus down drizzle with olive oil, add a little salt and pepper. Wrap with bacon cook til done @ 15 minutes in a 350 degree over. Tip: in my oven the veggies cooked way too fast for the bacon which remained raw. I microwaved the bacon a bit until it was partially cooked but still pliable. It's not quite as elegant since it's not raw meat pliable but at least the bacon isn't raw at the end
