m3sektet for the first kiss meme
The first thought to her mind was she wanted him because Buffy had had him but Faith dismissed it quickly. She’s grown so much since the time when that would have been her prime motivation. She wanted Spike because he was fucking hot, too hot for her sister Slayer in the long run. B. needed someone more steady and solid like Angel.
Faith, on the other hand, needed to burn. Slaying still made her hungry and horny. Dust of the dead blowing around the now-empty streets of the Faneuil Hall marketplace, Faith knew it was about damn time she made her move.
Spike offered her a cigarette and Faith took it, tossing it aside. She rapped the blond back against one of the Quincy Market building’s columns and kissed him so deep and long she was sure she could have sucked his fangs free if she wanted to. Tasting of smoke and salt, Spike’s mouth was deliciously cool; his body hard and very accommodating.
“Damn,” he muttered, smiling hungrily.
“I say patrol’s done for the night, so why are we still in so much clothing?” Faith’s voice went gravelly with lust.
Spike’s grin grew. “I like the way you think.”

open_on_sunday drabbles
Cordelia – Ats S1 Wasn’t supposed to be
She was royalty, undisputed. Everyone acknowledged her as the Queen of Sunnydale High. Cordelia assumed that meant the world would do likewise. She had it all planned out, a few months bumming around then off to L.A. Oh maybe she’d have to wait tables for a week or two until someone discovered her but how did it end up like this? Cockroaches on the walls and three days worth of food masquerading as a seven. Now she understood the maxim about people peaking in high school and little fish in big ponds. Life wasn’t supposed to be this unfair.
Spike – 1900 Rebellious thoughts
Who was he to say no to his ripe wicked plum? Anything Drusilla wanted, Spike made sure she got but maybe he needed draw the line here. After all, the wanker was a prince. He could just hear Angelus reminding him not to make too big of a kill, to not draw attention to them. To hell with that. They were vampires. What did they have to fear, even from royalty? Besides, if he let Dru eat the boy, maybe she’d shut up about jewels and golden carriages and whatever else she was on about. Just no turning his royal majesty.
Ensemble Post Series - Handful of Royals
Connor had learned to hide most of his emotions growing up. Maybe his perpetual sneer was a mask for them would be more accurate but it served him well, especially in a life or death situation like this. Only thin cotton lay between him and death. To his right, Dawn was panicking. To his left, Andrew was done for. That only left him, Spike and Faith. Spike’s expression was one of doom but Faith’s smirk said she thought she had him. “Two pair,” Connor said, “Two kings.” Faith brightened, knowing she had him. “And another two kings. Lose the bra, Faith.”

Date: 2007-05-20 10:20 pm (UTC)I liked the Cordelia one. So dead on true. Both hers and Harmony's lives pretty much went downhill after high school.
Oh yeah and the last one was cute.
