cornerofmadnessSuch as I am able to form. I hate crashes in sugar. They leave me disoriented and unable to think for hours, or even a day.
I know i haven't had much to say about LJ's recent stupidity. Mostly because most everyone else has already said it better. I don't have a greatest journal yet, not sure that I will. Frankly I don't see this stupidity confining itself to LJ. These people will hit all the major journals. The only difference I would expect to see is how greatest journal, open diary, my space etc handle the situation. One would assume they will learn from LJ's stupidity. I'm not even betting on it. I just want to know what kind of dimwit do you have to be to believe that child predators would ADVERTISE their interests. They know it's against the law. They work in the shadows. If these watchdog groups wanted to actually help, they'd teach the 12 and 13 year olds on MySpace how not to expose themselves to predators but that would take, oh, I don't know, actual effort. Much easier to conduct witch hunts.
LJ's apology was weak at best.
so to end on something a little more positive than another near-brush with the ER and corporate stupidity, here's the reading list for the last week or so mysteries and manga, what else?
